JANUARY 18, 2012 FEWER SHOWS + LESS INTERNET + NO NEWSLETTER = PEACE OF MIND Since releasing my last album, I've taken a deliberate step back from acoustic music and live shows. I love writing songs, recording, and sharing my music, but I also love walking my dog, spending time with friends, and playing drums with the Belles.
I'm not giving up acoustic music. I have just decided to play fewer shows and spend as little time on the internet as possible. I've deleted my Facebook page, I've deleted my MySpace page, and this will be the last e-newsletter that you'll receive from me. Ever.
If I have a show coming up (which I do), the details will be posted at mikereeb.com and I'll probably mention it on Twitter as the date gets closer. If I'm working on a new album or land a new song in a movie, I'll do the same. It's a simplified, more balanced approach. In Tape Op terms, I'm going more analog than digital.
Friends and fans, thank you for continuing to support my music in so many ways! See you soon. In real life.
