OUT NOW: "Harlem River Blues (Live at 606 Records)"

Audio out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, etc. The live video (scroll down) of this recording on YouTube is part of the ongoing VIA CHICAGO video project.

"Harlem River Blues" was released by Justin Townes Earle in 2010 and remained a live staple through to his untimely death in 2020 at age 38. During his final stage performance in Chicago (Thalia Hall, May 2017), Earle closed out the night by performing the song.

Directly across the street from Thalia Hall in the Pilsen neighborhood stands one of the finest vinyl music spots Chicago has to offer, 606 Records. Enjoy this classic country rendition of "Harlem River Blues" featuring Justin Howard on tenor banjo and Brian Wilkie (The Hoyle Brothers) on pedal steel guitar.
